Coupon Organizing

Organizing

Binder:

I used to organize coupons by category. One day I was in Walgreen's, and asked the lady in cosmetics if she had a coupon for Airborne. She opened her organizer and pulled it right out of the A's. That is when I changed to alphabetical and have saved so much time. Early each month I go through and pull all coupons that expired the previous month. This takes about 30 minutes and I can do it while watching a TV show.

Folder for each store

(I like to use a folder with pockets - found mine at Walgreen's on sale).

Common in all folders

bulletCurrent week ad
bulletShopping list - sometimes hand written, sometimes typed, sometimes from an online service
bulletCurrent week coupons and rebate forms - can put them in one pocket, move to other pocket as you get each item
bulletWhen I check out, can put the receipt in the folder for safe keeping until I get a chance to file away or take care of any rebates

Rite Aid

bulletRebate book - I mark on my copy. either a check mark or date for items I have purchased
bulletRite Aid only coupons (I have picked up free magazines in the pharmacy waiting area and in the entrance that included coupons, only good at Rite Aid. Additionally, when I printed coupons from Nature Made's website, Rite Aid was listed as the store. One week in our mail there was an ad for Rite Aid that included $5.00 off $25.00 purchase, one per week for 4 weeks.)

Walgreen's
